Head of Warehouse (m/f)

About the role

As our business grows, we are looking for an experienced Head of Warehouse to lead our warehouse and its team. You will own the day-to-day running of the warehouse and make sure goods move in, through and out quickly, accurately and on time. Your responsibilities

• Leading and developing the warehouse team — scheduling, onboarding, training and motivation
• Running daily operations — goods receipt and container unloading, storage, picking, packing and dispatch
• Ensuring inventory accuracy — regular stocktakes, cycle counts and clear stock-location discipline
• Optimising processes and layout — increasing throughput, reducing errors and shortening order lead times
• Planning capacity and shifts — staffing to order volume, including seasonal peaks
• Tracking and reporting KPIs — productivity, accuracy, dispatch times and returns handling
• Coordinating with other departments — procurement, customer support and transport/courier partners
• Maintaining health, safety and order — a safe, clean and well-organised warehouse

What we expect

• Several years of warehouse or logistics experience, including leading a team
• Strong organisational and people-management skills
• A hands-on, solution-oriented mindset and a calm head during peak season
• Confidence working with a WMS / ERP / inventory system and basic data (Excel)
• Knowledge of e-commerce fulfilment is an advantage
• A forklift licence is an advantage
• Fluent Slovenian; English is an advantage
